Filming a Wedding at Jekyll Island Club Resort

Jekyll Island Club Resort is one of the more distinctive destination weddings I've had the chance to film — a historic Gilded Age resort on the Georgia coast, well outside my usual St. Augustine service area. Amanda and Matthew's wedding film captures both the resort's grand, historic architecture and the laid-back, coastal feel of Jekyll Island itself.

Destination weddings like this one take extra planning on the front end — travel logistics, scouting the venue's layout in advance, and coordinating around a resort's own schedule and staff — but they also open up a wedding film to details you don't see at a typical St. Augustine venue, from the resort's turn-of-the-century architecture to its quiet, moss-draped grounds.
